Hearts are represented in the latest Scottish Professional Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The best eleven was selected by Craig Fowler.

The performance by Prince Buaben in the two all draw with Celtic at Tynecastle was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Scottish League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Buaben was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the SPFL blurb read.

‘The midfielder kept possession well in the face of constant pressure from the champions, and put a terrific cross into the penalty area for Sam Nicholson to level the score before half-time.’

It’s always good to see us represented in this way, and well played to Buaben for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the result.

Full Team:

Craig Gordon (Celtic), James Tavernier (Rangers), Conrad Balatoni (Kilmarnock), Ricky Forster (Ross County), Prince Buaben (Hearts), Gary Glen (Livingston), Liam Polworth (Inverness CT), Jason Holt (Rangers), Liam Boyce (Ross County), Nathan Austin (East Fife), Craig Malcolm (Stranraer).
