Hearts and Hibs ground out a dour 0-0 draw at Tynecastle this afternoon in a match that was almost completely devoid of entertaining football.

Only Hearts captain Michael Stewart looked capable of getting the ball down and playing to feet, but sadly there were no other players on the wavelength necessary for his efforts to be converted into anything tangible, and with Hibs offering little in the way of attempting to win the game, the match tamely petered out in stalemate.

Glad I missed it then !! A 0-0 draw was probably about the best we were ever likely to get, given our well-documented failings. A 2-week break till the St. Johnstone game at Tynecastle might give Elliot, Kingston, Suso and Zaliukas a chance of getting back close to the first team.
