Hearts’ prolific young striker (!) Jamie Mole has become the latest player at Tynecastle in danger of going onto the treatment table.
Mole, whose electric early-season form has him already on the fringes of the international scene, has picked up an injury in training that was deemed serious enough to warrant a trip to the hospital for scans on a suspected broken foot.
Csaba Laszlo had this to say about this potentially critical setback:
‘Jamie took a blow to his foot so we will see what the scans say.
‘We are obviously hoping there is nothing more than the bruising but he is sore so we will have to wait and see what the results of the x-rays are.’
We will indeed, as we truly cannot afford to lose such a key player at this stage of the season. His goals and overall contribution would take some replacing, and I suspect that the club simply do not have the cash to bring in someone in the January transfer window capable of even holding a candle to this boy….

Look?s like its Nade on for 88 minutes and Makela on for 2 for the foreseeable then.
Speeding the return of Elliot perhaps?! – I hope not. Not through any particular malice towards him but he’s doing well at Livi so I think he should see out the season to build on his regained confidence/enthusiasm etc.
Oh you just had to add to the joy didn’t you, itsnomarooned?!
Elliott could be the new signing in January…
Not now – it seems he’s been told he can look for a new club in January.
