The draw for the Scottish League Cup has been made and following this we know that Hearts, who were seeded, will start against Arbroath in round one.
Winning the Scottish Championship by a country mile wasn’t enough to save us from a first round entry, like it has all the other Scottish Premiership sides.
We’ll be taking on Arbroath at Tynecastle in a tie due that was due to be played on August 1st but will need to be played at another time though as our opening Premiership fixture against St Johnstone will take priority.
