Hearts will be presented with the Championship trophy, which we had effectively won weeks – months even – before this was officially the case way back anyway, following Rangers’ visit today.

We’ll be keen to end the season on a high with a Tynecastle win against a Rangers side looking for a win that could yet see them overtake our rivals Hibernian and finish as runners-up to us heading into the play-offs.

We can call upon Miguel Pallardo (calf) following his return from injury so he can take part in the season finale, Robbie Neilson was always keen on his return for this game and so it will be.

Adam Eckersley (knee) isn’t so fortunate though following surgery so he joins Neil Alexander, Prince Buaben and Billy King all miss out through injury.

Rangers have our former player Marius Zaliukas (ankle) available along with Ian Black (suspension). But a lack of fitness keeps out Richard Foster (hernia) and Steven Smith (back).

The result here isn’t, in many ways, overly important but we would like to end the season with yet another win at Tynecastle if possible wouldn’t we….
