Watching last night’s Real Madrid V Mallorca match was fantastic entertainment, but one thing that it reminded me of was just how much that Real’s match winner on the night Jose Antonio Reyes looks like the Jambos’ very own Bruno Aguiar!

Sadly as much as I think that Aguiar is a very capable footballer, that is where the similarities end! I think we can still only dream about boasting a player of Reyes’ quality in the Hearts team, but then I’m not going to criticise anyone for doing that…
What an end to that Spanish league though. When you’re talking about three teams of such fantastic technical ability taking the title all the way to the last 20 minutes of the season, it really doesn’t get much better than that does it? Almost as good as the relegation battle from last season’s SPL………

I agree, it was a brilliant end to the season. It was obvious though from when Reyes’ first goal went in (with his first touch of the ball!) there was only ever going to be one winner. Also good to see that it was the substitution of Beckham that effectively won Real Madrid the league. Poor Posh didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. 🙂
Aye although to be fair I think he was carrying a knock. Quite hilarious to watch the English presenters absolutely squirming when he was taken off though….”how dare they”!
