Ksanavicius Leaves Hearts?

Reports are indicating that Lithuanian winger Audrius Ksanavicius has played his last game for Hearts.

Ksanavicius joined the club on loan from Kaunas at the beginning of the season and initially impressed with a series of lively and skilful displays.

He remained a fairly popular player until what now seems like his last appearance last week, but for me it was quickly apparent that although the wee man had ability, he was far too lightweight to be a success in the SPL. He had a good first touch and quick feet which allowed him to link well with others at close quarters, but I often felt that he wasted many good openings with a poor final ball and his finishing was frankly appalling!

Having said that he is far from the worst player we’ve seen at the club over the past two seasons. I’d wish him well wherever he ends up, but in my opinion Hearts will scarcely be worse off for his absence.

I’m a bit disappointed about this to be honest. There’s a whole host of other players I’d rather see out ther door before this guy. I wonder at who’s instigation this is …..

Ditto. The wee man did everything but score, and that was largely down to misfortune. Think he will be missed… he had a bit of skill and a lot of energy.

BTW, there seems to be an issue with the site in that it won’t let you submit any comments in anything other than IE. 🙁

I’ve been able to reply in opera stockportjambo, so can’t see any problem with the system. Might be worth checking your settings in whatever browser you are using because if the privacy setting is too high, you might be blocked from logging on.

Yeah I’m able to do it in Firefox too mate. What are you using?

  • StockportJambo says:

Firefox here too. Mind you, that was on my work PC, so probably something screwy going on…

Nailed it… the problem was due to user error on my part… disabling Javascript. Apologies all round.
