Head coach Robbie Neilson and Osman Sow have both given their thoughts following the point secured against Celtic.

Beginning with the gaffer following the two all draw that saw Hearts bounce back twice in the game to take a valuable point, he told the Official Site that overall, and if he was honest, he was slightly disappointed to only come away with a point from the game because he felt we had had the chances to win it.

‘The first thing I asked the players after the game was whether they were happy with the point. And to a man they said no; they want to be winning games like that. We had a great opportunity to go and take three points but we gave up a slack goal in the first half. In the end we had to fight back twice, but the fact we`re disappointed with a point shows how far we`ve come. Celtic have the quality to play through you and you can`t afford to make mistakes. We`re getting better, at times we pressed well but other times we caused ourselves problems.’

With midfielder Arnaud Djoum limpoing off with a knock in the second half, the gaffer went on to confirm that all being well he would be fit for the Dundee United game as it wasn’t too serious at all and he also went on to credit Gavin Reilly for his showing on the day.

‘Gavin gave us exactly what I thought he would. He gives you energy, pace and the ability to play off the shoulder of the defence so I was pleased with him.’

As for Sow in his own post game interview, despite some disappointment he went on to explain that he felt it was a fair point even though we should’ve made easier work of it.

So of course he was delighted to build on Sam Nicholson’s first leveller with the freekick of his own at the death.

‘I hit the free-kick quite well but I think it took a bit of a deflection and I`m thankful for that! I thought we had chances to win. Especially in the first half we had a good spell. We were a bit on top then but in the second they had us under pressure. So I thought we could have got the three points, or we could also have ended up with nothing. Both teams had chances so a point each was a fair result. Whenever we play Celtic I believe we can win, you have to think like that. I think we have a good team here, everyone is fighting for each other.’
