Head coach Robbie Neilson has said that everybody is raring to go following on from the international break the last few weeks.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the game in his pre match press conference the gaffer said everybody was relishing the opportunity to get back in action now and they wanted to mark it with all three points.

He also confirmed that we had no fresh injuries ahead of our trip to Tannadice, but skipper Alim Ozturk continues to be sidelined following his recent hernia operation and right back Callum Paterson and striker Gavin Reilly miss out with suspension.

‘Ozturk`s out following his operation and we`ve also got Paterson and Reilly suspended. We`ve got a decent squad though and I don`t have any issues with putting players in. We`ve got players who are desperate to do well so it`s an opportunity for them to make an impact.’

Neilson went on to say that it should be an interesting game following their appointment of Mixu Paatelainen who will take charge for his first game, as he knows their players will be out to impress.

‘The United boys will be desperate to impress and perform. You always get a boost when a new manager comes in. It`s a clean slate for them, so it`ll be an intriguing game.’

Jamie Walker was also interviewed ahead of the Dundee United match, and for him the message was be show more ‘ruthlessness’.

‘We dropped off a little after winning our first five matches, but we take heart from the amount of chances we`ve created. We really need to start taking our chances, however. We picked up a point at Celtic but we felt we should have taken three against Killie, so everyone`s looking forward to Sunday and hopefully we can get the win.’
