No Touchline Ban For Neilson

Hearts’ return to the Scottish Premiership next season will see Head Coach Robbie Neilson free to start this with us on the touchline having avoided a ban.

Neilson was censured for what a Scottish FA judicial panel said was a use ‘of offensive, insulting and abusive language.’

During the two-two draw with Rangers in early May at Tynecastle referee Calum Murray sent Neilson to the stands although he was left perplexed by it, commenting.

‘It’s the first time I’ve been sent to the stand for shouting at an opposition player.’

The SFA compliance officer issued a ‘notice of complaint’ to him but this panel has found that there’s no touchline ban to be served so when we start the season in August he’ll be on the touchline with us, which will be a big boost.
