Robbie Neilson could be handed a ban following a ‘notice of complaint’ against him following his sending to the stands in the recent two-two draw with Rangers at Tynecastle to end the season.

Neilson was disappointed that we didn’t get a penalty but, in quotes carried by Evening Times, admits that his frustration was more a build up of a number of ‘dubious’ decisions but was surprised he was sent to the stands for ‘shouting at an opposition player.’

‘To be honest, I don’t think it was a penalty. There were a few other things building up before that that I thought were dubious to say the least.

‘It was the first time I’ve been sent to the stand for shouting at an opposition player.’

An accusation of ‘offensive, insulting and abusive language’ has been put to him by the Scottish Football Association with him having until June 14th to respond.
