Hearts, albeit this is ‘only’ pre-season, won for a third time ahead of the upcoming season when we saw off Raith two-nil at Stark’s Park on Tuesday.
Robbie Neilson is still to announce who the captain will be next season, but he knows in his mind who it will be, but on this occasion he handed it to Blazej Augustyn.
A blend of youth an experience saw teenagers Sean McKirdy and Liam Smith both start with plenty of changes made on the hour.
Like most of our pre-season friendlies so far it was second half goals, including a late one, that saw us over the line with Gary Oliver (54) shortly after the break and Jamie Walker (79), with a little over 10-minutes to play, scoring the goals.
