Hearts’ rearranged Championship encounter against Rangers will now take place on Sunday April 5, and the Hibernian derby has been set 24 hours later.

The game was originally set to take place at Ibrox last month, but the referee chose to postpone it 24 minutes into play because of a frozen pitch and worsening conditions.

Kicking off on the Sunday now, the game will begin at 12.15pm and it has been selected for live screening by BT Sport.

Hearts are still in discussions with Rangers with respect to ticketing information, so further announcements will be made closer to the game.

The Edinburgh derby against Hibernian was due to take place on Saturday April 11, but this has been moved back to Sunday April 12 and it will now have a 2.15pm kick off having been selected by Sky Sports for television coverage.
