Robbie Not Getting Carried Away

While virtually all of those around him must be thinking that we’ve all but wrapped up the Championship title Robbie Neilson isn’t ‘getting at all carried away’ but the growing title talk.

He’s insisted with what he’s told the Official Website that it’s a case of ‘staying focused’ and taking it a game at a time with his first focus being the game with Cowdenbeath at the weekend.

‘We’re definitely just focusing on this one game. We’ve got 11 games to go and we focus on Saturday and hopefully get the three points. Then it’s ten games and we can start counting them down.

‘It’s still a very important part of the season for us. It’s the business end, as they say, so it’s important we keep doing the same things and don’t get distracted by outside influences.’

Rangers have games in hand but with their form so erratic the more likely side to catch us you feel is Hibernian, and that’s not too likely either is it!

Neilson, as you’d expect, is putting on the public face but in private he must know that a truly shocking collapse aside and we’ll be virtually done and dusted before you know it….

One setback from the win over Queen of the South, which means he’ll probably miss the game with Cowdenbeath, was the injury to Prince Buaben. And x-ray revealed no break to his tie but a bit of ligament damage could keep him out but Neilson says ‘he could possibly be available for selection’ bit much depends on the coming days.
