The SFA bosses are set to discuss the possibility of forcing Hearts to sack their head coach Graham Rix.

Rix who has only been in place for two games which were both 1-1 draws was convicted of a sex offence in 1999. He was charged with having sex with a 15 year old girl and sent to prison.

Now the SFA could be set to try and force him out of football as they could find it inappropriate for him to be in charge of a Scottish football club.

The SFA haven’t been in touch yet with Hearts but it’s believed that the Edinburgh club are unconcerned about the situation and believe that Rix’s position will be safe.

If the SFA decide they want him removed Hearts don’t need to comply but they could face been ineligable for the UEFA Cup or Champions League.

Meanwhile, the SFA are also going to be looking into the appointment of ex Rangers secretary as Hearts director of operations.
