Hearts are represented in the latest Scottish Professional Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.
The best eleven was selected by Craig Fowler.
The performance by John Souttar in the one nil victory over Kilarnock at the weekend at Tynecastle was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Scottish League pyramid.
I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Souttar was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the SPFL blurb read.
‘Souttar looks like a player reborn since his move to Hearts and was completely comfortable in the centre of the rearguard in the win over Kilmarnock. He also wowed the fans with a number of inch-perfect cross-field passes.’
It’s always good to see us represented in this way, and well played to Souttar for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the victory.
Full Team:
