Hearts are in Scottish League Cup action against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Wednesday, with this a 7:45pm kick-off.

Maybe a ‘change of scenery’, so to speak, with Hearts taking a break from the Scottish Premiership will bring a change of fortunes and end the three-match losing run the Jambos are on as Robbie Neilson takes his side to Kilmarnock.

Kilmarnock will be without Kevin McHattie (cup-tied) with Darryl Westlake also doubtful. Stevie Smith is back from injury with Mark Ridgers brought in on an emergency loan deal from St Mirren with Killie having a ‘keeper crisis.

Neilson could make a few changes but should have Morgaro Gomis (family bereavement) following his father’s death and funeral.

One to definitely sit out again is Soufian El Hassnaoui.

The Jambos will hope for a positive result, to progress into the fourth round of League Cup, and to end the run of defeats, but will this happen?

Whatever line up Neilson goes with expectancy will be high of at least one more tie, and ahead of the game we’re looking for your views on what way you think it will go, which obviously requires you to vote in the latest poll one of two ways….

Hearts win
Kilmarnock win

Not only do we want you to cast your vote, which you do to your right, we’re also looking for your thoughts and views too so do share some of those with your comments below.
