Hearts’ Scottish Premiership season continued with a six-nil win over Motherwell at Tynecastle on Saturday.

Three-goals in each half, the opening three leaving Hearts three-up inside 25-minutes, and the final three on the last 13-minutes resulted in the thrashing of in-form Motherwell.

An Igor Rossi header got Hearts on their way on 11-minutes with Osman Sow grabbing his 11th of the season five-minutes later to double the lead with the third coming when Gavin Reilly scored from the penalty spot.

Callum Paterson, scoring for a third-match in a row, made it four on 77-minutes with Juanma three-minutes from time and Arnaud Djoum in injury-time wrapping up the six-nil win. A seventh-goal, well Hearts had the ball in the net for a seventh time, was scored but this was disallowed.

These were the other results.

Looking at these results we see good wins (exception in some cases) for Celtic, Hearts (as we know) and Aberdeen against Dundee United (4-1), Motherwell (6-0) and Ross County (3-2) with the top three retaining their positions as the undoubted top three.

Kilmarnock and Dundee also collected wins over Inverness and Partick, respectively.
