Hearts’ Scottish Premiership season continued with a defeat at the Caledonian Stadium against Inverness on Friday.

A return to SPL action saw Hearts lose again, second half goals from Inverness’ Vincent and Storey earned them a first win of the season whereas the Jambos were beaten for a second successive occasion in this two-nil defeat.

The setback was bad enough with Oshaniwa sent off for ‘lashing out’ shortly before the second goal.

Neilson gave Swanson, who signed ahead of the game following a successful trial, a debut but the first half didn’t see a breakthrough made by either side with Hearts looking for a couple of penalties, Juanma firstly, which would have been soft, from a Draper challenge and then Nicholson following an effort that he thought stuck an arm.

Christie, signed on loan from Celtic, got down the left with his pull back to Vincent (49) finished off from close range just after the break as Inverness broke the deadlock and didn’t really look back with Hearts not really threatening.

Nigerian international Oshaniwa wouldn’t have been looking to make ‘his mark’ in the way he did with him send off for his altercation with Sho-Silva.

Storey (89), signed on loan from Swindon before the transfer deadline, marked his Caley debut with the second, to wrap up the win late on from a Vigurs cross with Jambos ‘keeper Alexander beaten again.
