Hearts’ Scottish Premiership season continued with yet another win at the Global Energy Stadium against Ross County on Saturday.

A 100% start to life back in the SPL was maintained when Hearts scored twice in the opening 15-minutes through Sow and Ozturk. Boyce pulled one back for Ross County from the spot but the Jambos saw out a two-one win.

Hearts needed Alexander to save from Gardyne, with the lead coming shortly after as Sow (11) broke away to beat Ross County ‘keeper Fox, via the inside of the post, to make it one-nil and that soon became two! Paterson volleyed a Juanma on target with Ozturk (14) getting the final touch to make sure and put the Jambos in complete control.

Ross had a chance to get back into the game shortly before half time, which Boyce (39) made no mistake with after a Rossi foul on Irvine, who escaped with a yellow card that could have been a red on another day.

Having marked his full debut with a goal, from the penalty spot, last time round Reilly failed to take a chance from close range as he put a Walker cross over the bar with that miss almost costing Hearts when Reckord’s cross evaded everyone including the far post.
