Hearts’ Scottish Premiership season continued with a draw against Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Saturday.

A difficult start to the league season, which saw Hearts start out with a defeat against Champions Celtic, then saw a Betfred Cup exit to St Johnstone. The Jambos drew nil-nil with Aberdeen this time.

Changes were made by Nielson from that side that crashed out of the League Cup but a breakthrough couldn’t be found with Watt, like he had on his debut against a former club Celtic, was guilty of a bad miss.

Watt could have one it late on, after Aberdeen’s Burns had headed against the crossbar, but couldn’t hit the target from 12-yards out.

Here’s a round up of the Scottish Premiership action from the other matches played.

Kilmarnock, Ross County and St Johnstone all picked up wins with all three of them winning away at Hamilton, Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Motherwell respectively.

Aberdeen and Hearts played out a goalless draw in the other match at Pittodrie.
