Hearts’ Scottish Premiership season continued with a defeat against Celtic at Celtic Park on Saturday.

An early lead wasn’t something Hearts could hold, or build on, at Celtic with the Champions eventually coming back to win three-one.

Jamie Walker put Hearts ahead on 5-minutes, good work from Juanma put in Walker who finished past Scotland international Craig Gordon into the top corner.

It wasn’t long before Gary Mackay-Steven, 10-minutes later, had Celtic level. Having turned Leigh Griffiths’ freekick away the corner that followed Neil Alexander beaten was beaten by Mackay-Steven on 15-minutes.

Alim Ozturk went close to restoring the lead but his 25-yard freekick curled against the crossbar with Manchester City loanee Patrick Roberts then scoring as Celtic came from behind to lead in the 35th-minute, which was taken into the half time break, when he lobbed Alexander.

Early in the second half Roberts’ second goal gave Celtic breathing space, another good finish saw the 19-year-old curl into the corner on 49-minutes and there was no way back.

Hearts’ afternoon ended with Juwon Oshaniwa sent off in injury-time as the Nigerian international collected his second yellow card as Celtic moved closer to retaining their title.
