Hearts’ Scottish Premiership season continued with a draw against Inverness at the Caledonian Stadium on Tuesday.

A fine return to the topflight from Hearts has seen European football secured after a nil-nil draw with Inverness but a chance to close to six-points of second placed Aberdeen was missed.

Robbie Neilson brought Abiola Dauda off the bench and he went closest to a winner for Hearts but his effort (set for the top corner) was turned away by Inverness ‘keeper Owain Fon Williams another of his efforts didn’t ever trouble Fon Williams.

Neil Alexander was also called into action late on with the veteran saving well from a Danny Williams volley, with Josh Meekings and Liam Polworth also going close for the home side.

Hearts confirming a Europa League qualification spot (which has been a formality for weeks) definitely constitutes a fine season for the Jambos doesn’t it but we’ll be a bit disappointed not to have secured all three points to put more pressure on Aberdeen to finish as runners up behind (likely) Champions Celtic.

Who was the Jambos MotM in this game?

That’s what the latest poll is asking so do cast a vote.

Did a starter, or someone from the bench, offer the most?
