With ‘rising expectations’ among many fans following Hearts’ dominance in the Scottish Championship, seeing us back in the Premiership, we’ve been warned not to get carried away.

Craig Levein has moved for us to be guarded against expecting too much upon our topflight return.

This got Specs Haver thinking who says.

The Levein article got me thinking about how the PL teams fared last season, compared to us.

Apart from Celtic and Aberdeen, all the others went through periods when they couldn’t win a game.

So its likely that we’ll also suffer these spells too – hopefully Robbie and the experienced players can guide everyone through these sticky spells so that we stay well clear of relegation/playoff worries.

We should probably consider 6th or higher as a successful return to the top division.

Sixth place or higher in the Scottish Premiership should be considered a successful return by the Jambos to the topflight, would you agree?
