You make it sound like an appealing proposition MrH, I may take you up on the offer as talking to myself elsewhere is really starting to wear a bit thin.., any freebies to entice a lonely Bhoy with?

  • MrH says:

Hmm……how about being given a licence to slag off Hearts without a kick in the family jewels for your trouble?! We’ll merely be quiet in our contempt should the situation arise…..deal?! Seriously, you’re more than welcome to contribute here, as are any people who are interested enough. You finding it tough going “elsewhere” are you?

  • TicV"Establishment" says:

easiest going I’ve ever had mate, even had to reg a few alter ego’s just so I could talk to myself..LMAO, I’ll join up soon mate,(JamBhoy sounds good) I’ve never been a Heart’s slagger, so my “nuts” should be safe..lol

  • MrH says:

Bit strange – some good articles over there and you’ve got the “crisis” we were all expecting. Perhaps the fizz has gone from your season after the Champs League exit? Everything else is very predictable now isn’t it?

  • TicV"Establishment" says:

The “crisis” is a result of the “fizz” just not being there all season long. WGS thinks winning by playing “mediocre” football is fine, whilst a rapidly growing number of us Tims think that winning by playing “exciting, attractive, and attacking” football should NOT be beyond us – especially in the SPL..

  • MrH says:

He doesn’t help himself much does he? But then perhaps despite his success (or seeing as we’re using a lot quotes here, “success”!), he’s possibly not the great manager that some of the lesser educated among you think? Let’s face it, he’s won the league when up against the worst Rangers team in a long time and a Hearts who just imploded completely after initial promise. He’s not REALLY been tested or put under any serious pressure. The only real achievement has been Europe of course, which you can’t really take away from him. WGS? Scotland manager within 5 years……..

  • TicV"Establishment" says:

I’d settle for next season, forget 5 years time…lol, aye there’s always Europe, just don’t mention Bratislava to him, or our pumpings in Benfica, or Copenhagen, nor what the scorlines should have been v man u.., aye, he’s a wee master…or a word to that effect. Plus, he talk’s complete pish.

  • StockportJambo says:

Gotta agree, WGS is always great for a quote! http://www.migandi.org.uk/jokes-humour/Gordon%20Strachan%20Quotes.htm

  • MrH says:

Glad to hear some honest views from a Sellik man…..the day after you beat Man U I gave them credit but said it was daylight robbery on here and I got pelters for it! Just shows you……..

  • TicV"Establishment" says:

As my [sig] says MrH, keeping the faith doesn’t mean blind faith.., if it looks like pish, and if the footy is pish, there’s a very good likelihood that it is indeed pish…lol

  • MrH says:

I think it’s been downhill since just before O’Neill left for you guys. In fact, the last time you had a truly decent footballing side was arguably in the Tommy Burns days……..

  • TicV"Establishment" says:

Tommy Burns is the man I personally want as our next manager. He ran auld wattery ragged last time around, and that was when we were shopping at poundstretchers, and Sir Silence was bouncing cheques left right and centre at Harrod’s, time for some payback, and a return to winning whilst still playing cracking fitba – its not that difficult..

  • MrH says:

Some great players he signed too – I was actually at Hampden the night Van Hooydonk made his debut against us…..what a goal he scored too! Di Canio and Cadete weren’t bad either….and McNamara – all Burns signings…..

  • TicV"Establishment" says:

Yes indeed MrH, you always talk sense mate.

  • MrH says:

    Many thousands might disagree!
