Csaba Targets A New Hearts Striker

Hearts manager Csaba Laszlo has confirmed that his main priority during the January transfer window will be to beef up his attack.

The fans have justifiably been complaining about the lack of any real strength in this position for some time now, and given the latest news that Mike Tullberg and Jamie Mole are now both injured, coupled with the fact that Christian Nade is the only forward at Tynecastle to have found any form to speak of so far this season, it’s clear that this is one area in dire need of strengthening.

Csaba said:

‘We have a plan for January but it’s too early to talk about it in detail.

‘I think we maybe have some problems in two or three positions but we must look at the striker position.

‘We will look to the future, for young players who can benefit the team for many years.

‘Maybe somebody would like to take players from us and, if a player wants to leave, business goes on.

‘We would like to bring players and sell but we don’t want to sell and damage the team.’

It’s anyone’s guess who Csaba will want to bring in, but it would be nice to think that for once we could sign someone with genuine presence. Christian Nade does have this when he’s fit of course, but it would be good to have the sort of player who could complement him whilst still being physically strong too.

If only Pinilla had managed to get himself sorted…..

?and if their really is plan for January and we really are going to get a proper striker then please let?s not wait until 11:59 pm on the 31st. That really *****s me off.

I know, but having said this imcd, waiting til 11.59pm on the 31st hitting refresh and seeing a Hearts signing pop up, although frustrating, is better than seeing nothing at all.

If that’s what you guys did the last time, can I perhaps recommend an early night for you both on the 31st this time round instead? It’s much easier to accept that way!

Crikey staying up to see if Hearts sign anyone at the end of a transfer window. Now that is devotion. Didn’t Hearts release a statement at around 4pm during the last day of the window in August stating they wouldn’t be signing anyone? Hopefully, I use hopefully as it is still unlikely to happen too, it wont be a crock who would get injured playing table football.
