Hearts Interest In Zeta Players

Today’s Sunday Mail are reporting that Hearts are interested in signing FK Zeta midfielders Marco Cetkovic and Slaven Stjepanovic.

Both players were outstanding in their Champions League qualifier at Ibrox last week, a match that the Montenegrans were very unfortunate to lose 2-0. They appeared to have everything that the Rangers midfield lacked: pace, skill and a good touch. In fact, they actually looked lightning-quick, but I’m still not sure if this is actually the case, or just the fact that the Rangers midfield’s lack of mobility made them look much faster than they actually are!

Either way, I reckon that both players are definitely worth sounding out. Hearts badly need an injection of pace and creativity and on the evidence of Tuesday night’s match at Ibrox, these guys definitely have the potential to provide this in the SPL.

It’s being reported that Vladimir Romanov will step up his attempts to sign these guys after Zeta’s second leg against Rangers. Could we be about to have some positive signing news for Hearts in the near future? Here’s hoping…
