Hearts have revealed that their current waiting list for season-tickets has increased by 1,000 on last year, bringing the total to more than 5,000.
The waiting list was set up last year after all 13,500 season tickets were sold. This year it looks like going the same way, with between 11-12,000 people having already renewed. But even if not all 13,500 renew their tickets, with that number on the waiting list it’s pretty much a given that every game next season will once again be sold out, in the areas for home fans anyway. And let’s face it, the away section is bound to be almost negligible next season because of the work being done on the old main stand.
Encouraging news considering what we’ve had to put up last season. A sure sign that while mistakes have been made with regards to team management, some good work has been done marketing the club to new customers.
