Hearts look close to securing the signature of Slovenian Matej Rapnik.
The player, who is the captain of his country’s under 17 side, has agreed terms on a deal that was first rumoured to be on the cards more than six months ago.
The signing of this promising young player would seem to be a positive move as Hearts continue to look at signing some of the best young talent from Eastern Europe.
Having not seen much of Copil, Kostadinov or this guy, all I can really go on are their reputations at the moment, but it would certainly seem to be good news. All of these guys were rumoured to be interesting bigger clubs, but Hearts got their act together to offer them the cash and long-term deals.
Hopefully we’ll bear the fruits of these guys in a few years time.
