Vital Hearts, Editors And Havering!

I’m quite sure that the title of this article is very relevant to much of the content that goes onto this site (!), but over the next week or so Vital Hearts will have a Caretaker Editor in the shape of Mr Specs Haver himself.

Yes that’s right – too much time burning the proverbial candle brightly at both ends has resulted in a much-required leave of absence for your usual ‘haverer’ here, so SH has very kindly agreed to keep things ticking over until I’m back the week after next…albeit when the lad has the time to do so of course!

I wonder if this caretaker arrangement will see SH becoming the resident Stevie Frail of Vital Hearts, whereby he takes the role on under false pretences, gets dog’s abuse for the next six months and then gets snubbed in favour of a Hungarian, Romanian, German next summer…….!

Only time will tell on that one, but if Hearts win all of their matches during the anticipated timeframe of this temporary arrangement in a George Burley-esque way, and the site takes off to new levels as a result, I might just have to enforce some Romanov-like rules here and start interfering with SH’s article-subject selection and the ratings he awards players for match performances……..!
