Vital Pre-Match – Aberdeen v Hearts

Hearts or Aberdeen to win as the Scottish Premiership season continues with some midweek games, with most played on Wednesday.

Then again, which is more than possible of course, it could be a draw!

Among this schedule is a game for us with a 7:45pm kick-off at Pittodrie.

In the last game late goal apiece, with Hearts set for a win until Ross equalised with two-minutes to play, meant the points were shared in this one-one draw.

In a match that didn’t offer up too much at times, Alex Schalk missed the best chance in the first half when he was put through but Hearts ‘keeper Jack Hamilton denied him, Prince Buaben also had an effort cleared off the line.

Buaben seemed the most likely goalscorer with Ross ‘keeper Scott Fox also saving to deny him before substitute Juanma’s goal with a little over five-minutes to play finally looked to have secured the points for Hearts as he turned in a Buaben cross.

Ross weren’t to be denied though as David Goodwillie headed in a Martin Woods cross on 88-minutes to see the points shared and leave the Jambos with just one win from the last seven-matches to end the season.

What will happen in this one though?

The fixtures are.

Tuesday 10th May 2016
Dundee Utd 3-3 Partick Thistle

Wednesday 11th May 2016
St Johnstone v Celtic 19:30
Dundee v Kilmarnock 19:45
Hamilton v Inverness CT 19:45
Ross County v Motherwell 19:45

Thursday 12th May 2016
Aberdeen v Hearts 19:45

A run of just one win in the last seven-matches is something Hearts, following the Ross County draw, will want to end.

The Jambos head to Aberdeen on Thursday, runners up to Celtic one again, with the Dons beaten by the Champions on Sunday with that three-two defeat confirming the title was (as expected) staying at Celtic Park.

We’ll be keen for a similar result, ok maybe not three-two scoreline but a win at least!

But will this happen?

Whatever the line up expectancy will be high and ahead of the game we’re looking for your views on what way you think it will go, which obviously requires you to vote in the latest poll one of three ways….

Hearts win
Aberdeen win
Draw

Not only do we want you to cast your vote, which you do to your right, we’re also looking for your thoughts and views too so do share some of those with your comments below.
