Hearts’ Scottish Premiership season continued with a win against Dundee at Dens Park on Saturday.

A fourth successive win, with a familiar looking scoreline too, was secured by Hearts as we won one-nil at Dundee.

Jamie Walker’s second half goal on 52-minutes, his fourth-goal in his last five-matches, proved enough for Hearts to come away with the three-points to make a third placed (and European qualifying spot) all but secured for the Jambos with a 17-point lead on Ross County.

Dundee could have gained a point but Rory Loy saw his effort cleared off the line by Liam Smith with the gap to Aberdeen in second remaining at nine-points.

These were the other results.

Friday 11th March 2016
Motherwell 2-1 Dundee Utd

Saturday 12th March 2016
Partick Thistle 1-2 Celtic
Aberdeen 2-1 Kilmarnock
Dundee 0-1 Hearts
Inverness CT 0-1 Hamilton

The title is still in the hands of Celtic (two-one) as they look to retain this but the win at Patrick was needed with Aberdeen (two-one) keeping the pressure on with a win against Kilmarnock at Pittodrie to keep within touching distance of the leaders.

Hearts (one-nil) recorded a familiar scoreline to win once more to be ready, as unlikely as it could be, to push on from the virtually assured third place into second should Aberdeen (or Celtic even) drop off!
