The lead over Rangers was extended further and the gap between Hibernian and ourselves, in second, increased to 20-points when, for a second weekend in succession, Hearts enjoyed success against Livingston.

Once again though this was a close fought thing with just the solitary goal between us but that was enough as we won one-nil at Tynecastle on Saturday.

Livingston put us under pressure with White going close early on before Walker forced Livingston ‘keeper Jamieson into a save, who also kept out Keatings with a good save before Fordyce was denied a goal to give the visitors the lead when his header was cleared off the line.

As half time approached Walker (40) finally broke through as he finished into the roof of the net to give us a half time lead.

The visitors kept battling, they had chances to equalise and we had them to secure the points and when Praprotnik was sent off for collecting his second yellow card that was expected to be that….

Livingston kept battling though but we saw out a one-nil win to strengthen our grip on the Championship title, which we’ll not lose will we!

Following this game, as is customary of course, attention now turns to the MotM for us – who you think this was?

Select the name that you want from the list in the poll to your right, but why not also share your thoughts with us on your thinking for that person, and this latest game itself, with some views….
