Hearts striker Callum Elliot has gone on loan to Livingston for the rest of the year.
Elliot, a player who has endured much criticism for his performances from the Hearts support in recent, frustrating seasons, has been looking for a move for some time now, but I’m not altogether sure
if a loan deal was what he had in mind. Still, it could be one of those moves where if he does well enough within a certain timeframe, he can earn himself a permanent move, so it could be that this works out well for him, especially given the fact that he’s dropped down a level and could use this as an opportunity to put in some good displays to build his confidence back up.
Hope it goes well for him…….

It will be interesting to see if Livi continue to play him as a striker – it might be best for everyone if they try to develop him more as an attacking midfielder. The lad must have “something”, because he keeps getting picked for Scotland U-21s …. although maybe Billy Stark and Stevie Frail are maybe the only 2 coaches in Scotland who think so !!
The one that scored 9 goals in over 50 games for Hearts – yes Dalien. It’s shocking that we have held him back for so long. Still, needs must and all that…
