Hearts’ eagerly-anticipated Scottish Cup tie against Edinburgh rivals Hibs will take place on Sunday January 11 at 12.15pm
The big match has been switched to this date and time from the Saturday for live coverage on SKY TV, although there will be those who will argue that the early kick-off time is to help prevent thousands of fans turning up at Easter Road in an ever-so-slightly inebriated state!
Ticket news as far as the Hearts section of the stadium will no doubt be announced shortly, and it’s likely to be one hell of a scramble…….

Did you know that Setanta and SKY are practically the same? Separate in their own right as companies maybe, but the pictures you’re watching when Setanta cover a match are apparently supplied by SKY and there’s a very favourable agreement between the two of them going on that works out rather well financially.
