Hearts travel to Inverness tomorrow on what could be a pivotal weekend at the top of the SPL.

If last week’s patchy performance at Livingston was anything to go by, it promises to be a struggle for Hearts again to take the three points, especially given the continued absence of some key players.

However with Rangers playing Kilmarnock and Celtic playing Hibs this weekend, the opportunity is there for Hearts to potentially make up ground on the league leaders AND put some more distance between themselves and their Champions League place challengers. Scottish Cup semi-final places are also up for grabs now, so there are no shortage of motivations for the Hearts players tomorrow….

Inverness CT Team News:

Dennis Wyness is ineligible to play due to the terms of his loan deal from Hearts, while Rory McAllister is suspended.

David Proctor misses out with a shoulder injury but Barry Wilson may return after recovering from minor knee surgery ahead of schedule.

Player to watch: Craig Dargo

Has a good goalscoring record this season and is always buzzing around up front.

Hearts Team News:

Julien Brellier continues his suspension but Hearts welcome back Paul Hartley to the midfield.

Rudi Skacel and Edgaras Jankauskas sadly miss out through injury and captain Steven Pressley is almost certain to miss out again with a virus.

Player to watch: Paul Hartley

Has been badly missed recently and will no doubt be raring to go tomorrow.
