The Scottish Professional Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Kilmarnock this weekend.
Hearts travel to Kilmarnock on Saturday January 2 for the game at Rugby Park and the match carries a 3pm kick off.
Referee: Alan Muir
Match Day referee Muir has officiated two Hearts games so far this season – the four two victory over Arbroath in July’s Scottish League Cup tie and then two nil loss over Ross County. In both those games he showed seven yellows and one red. Two yellows and the red to Hearts.
He has however already taken in eighteen other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 48 yellow cards and three red cards.
He was most card happy in the match between Dumbarton and Rangers in September with a total of six yellows shown, plus one red.
Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
