Hearts face another tough away fixture when they travel to Tannadice tonight. Having failed in their last away match at Rugby Park, the Jambos will surely be better prepared to be up for a scrap than they were then.
United have under-achieved this season, especially considering some of the talent in their squad. However with the arrival of Craig Brewster comes a new wave of optimism and perhaps the likes of Lee Miller (we know all about him) will thrive on this appointment. The early signs are definitely good with a spirited 3-3 draw at Parkhead having been 3-1 down.
If Hearts can play to their best form they should win this match, but it’s definitely one that they need to make their physical presence felt in early on, otherwise it could well be another Kilmarnock.
Dundee United Team News:
Jim McIntyre is doubtful with a neck injury and Lee Mair and Paul Ritchie are definitely out injured. However Charlie Mulgrew is available for selection.
Player to watch: Lee Miller
Has not delivered as much as I would have expected so far for United, but with the arrival of Brewster I think he might start to do the business. Hopefully not tonight though!
Hearts Team News:
Paul Hartley is available again until the Motherwell match, so should slot back in for Lee Johnson.
Rudi Skacel and Takis Fyssas have shaken off the flu and Mirsad Beslija is fit despite the injury on Saturday. All three are likely to start, especially as Fyssas’ replacement on Saturday, Jose Goncalves, has a slight groin strain.
Player to watch: Callum Elliot
Has been in fantastic form lately and once again the big task of leading the Hearts attack will fall on his young shoulders.

Who’s picking the team tonight though? Rix or Romanov?
Six changes…looks like Romanov!
Why is Rix staying there? And why doesn’t Romanov make himself the manager? It’s all very odd.
He seems to think he can do what he want. He can get away with this in other businesses but not with a football club…….it’s all going pear-shaped again…..
